“Love is determination.

Love is a choice one makes…

You do not give yourself any other option.”

-Queen Charlotte, Bridgerton

Hello & Welcome!

Born and raised in Minnesota, I have always valued and recognized the feeling of a warm environment (when you know the feeling of -40 degree windchill on your face, you never take for granted a sunny summer day). This is something I seek intentionally to create in my personal and professional environments. So, I mean it when I say, Welcome 🙂

Up to this point, my life has been a series of wildly fortunate events: the good, the challenging, and every moment in-between. Art has always been there for me. It was there at the dance studio in my home town where I was introduced to my first love, Ballet. The Sound of Music VHS tape at my grandparents house I would request to play every time they watched me. The portable CD player and thick albums holder my parents hauled around daily so I was never without music. My school theater productions as a child when I first stepped on stage as orphan number 10 (or 11 maybe, or 14) in Annie. The first ukulele I bought during COVID lock-down. Art has always been there for me, and I intend to always be there for it.

Since moving to New York City, I have furthered this connection and this love. Studying at HB Studio not only provided me a safe and incredible place to develop my craft, it introduced me to a community I am forever grateful to know.

I have chosen Art, just as much as it has chosen me. It is a love I get to nurture and share with the world.

Along with this love of Art, I’m a self studied Botanist (so, 5% of a real one), science fanatic, avid thrift shopper, early education advocate, data analyst, solo-travel fan, hobby knitter, and experimental baker. To me, it’s all Art. So, it’s all love.
